Many congratulations to David Sullivan, Charlie Moorin, Alasdair Owens and Joel Lightfoot who are all Administrators working in our Personal Injury and Court of Protection (PICOP) team, based in our Bury office, who have completed the Longest Day Golf Challenge and have raised about £1,000 for MacMillan Cancer Support.
The challenge consisted of playing 4 rounds (72 holes) of golf in one day.
Our intrepid team teed off at 6am at the Wilmslow Golf Club in Cheshire and completed 26 miles of walking during their four rounds. It could have been a bit less if they had consistently hit their balls in a straight line. They finished playing at 9.45pm and so it was a long and exhausting day.
David, Charlie, Alasdair and Joel were all very tired at the end, but also delighted to raise funds for a wonderful charity, especially because each of their families has been impacted by Cancer and have used the excellent support provided by MacMillan.
