Four Chase de Vere  employees receive Service Excellence Awards

Many congratulations to Jonathan Edge, Gemma Moore, Charlotte Glancy and Todd Ashton, who have all been presented with Chase de Vere Service Excellence Awards. These accolades are awarded annually to Chase de Vere employees who have exceeded expectations in the previous year and made an important contribution to the service we provide for our clients

Jonathan is a Client Support Administrator based in our Manchester office. Our Administrators provide support to our Independent Financial Advisers, and Jonathan regularly receives excellent feedback from the Advisers he works with and the clients he helps to support. There were a number of instances in 2023 where Jonathan went ‘above and beyond’ to ensure that our clients received a high-quality service, including using his knowledge and experience to proactively spot errors by third-party product providers and rectifying them before they became an issue.

Gemma is a Corporate Administrator based in our Preston office. She performs a similar role to Jonathan, except that she works with Corporate Advisers, who give advice to employers and their employees. Gemma is described as an “absolute star” and her meticulous attention to detail ensures that we deliver a high level of service to our corporate clients. She attends corporate client meetings and is on first name terms with many of our clients.

Charlotte is based in our Bury office and provides technical support to our Personal Injury & Court of Protection (PICOP) team. This team provides advice on personal injury and clinical negligence cases, often for clients who have suffered catastrophic injuries. Charlotte’s knowledge in this area is invaluable, and she is the go-to person for team members who may need help and for many of our clients who have additional questions.

Todd works in our Finance team in Manchester, and while he isn’t directly involved in providing service to our clients, he plays an important role in supporting other colleagues who do. In the past year he has been actively involved in our Consumer Duty preparations. Consumer Duty has impacted all financial services firms as the industry regulator wants to ensure that they are providing a high level of consumer protection and that they put their customers’ needs first, a philosophy that we wholly embrace.
