Chase de Vere Adviser joins the Financial Vulnerability Taskforce

Many congratulations to Catriona Smith, an Independent Financial Adviser in Chase de Vere’s Glasgow office, who has joined the editorial group of the Consumer Duty Alliance and the Financial Vulnerability Taskforce.

The Financial Vulnerability Taskforce is an independent body representing the personal finance sector and its ultimate purpose is to promote greater understanding and establish good practice in respect of vulnerable consumers. The editorial group produces good practice guides for the financial advice sector to help them support vulnerable clients.

Catriona was recommended to join the editorial team because of her expertise in providing financial advice for clients in later life. The team has four members, and Catriona will be one of just two financial advisers.

Catriona and the editorial group are currently working on a good practice guide aimed at helping financial advisers to support those with caring responsibilities. It will be called, ‘Understanding & supporting clients with caring responsibilities: A practical guide for financial advisers.’

We are very proud that Catriona has been selected to join the Taskforce. It is a fantastic endorsement of her expertise and reputation in this really important area of financial advice.
